Description

Up for bid is a June 2009 Golden Campine Bantam cockerel. I developed my own line of campine bantams over the past several years by combining LF Campines, bantam golden penciled hamburgs, and a line of imported bantam campines that had willow shanks and red earlobes. My selection has been for birds with distinct barring to the tip of the tail, white earlobes, blue shanks, henny feathering, long campine style bodies, and hens with lopped combs. My birds are quite different from the campine colored OEGB’s often sold as Campine bantams. This cockerel is still quite young and not yet in full adult feather, but is exquisitely marked and wonderfully campine in type. I do not have a pullet to sell with him as the demand for hatching eggs and chicks has been so great that I cannot afford to part with any, but I did pull this boy from my keeper flock expressly to offer him to others wanting to improve their flocks of this very rare breed. I accept postal money order and PayPal only. Shipping and box to the lower 48 states is fixed at $60.00.
